Sarah Jewell was the third child of Absolam Jewell and Sarah Tregonning, and was baptised on the 23rd January 1781, in the Parish of Wendron.
According to the I.G.I., Sarah married John Jenkin on the 13th November 1802, in the Parish of Wendron. A search for any baptisimal record for a John Jenkin discovered 4 possible records in the Parish of Wendron. Unfortunately I can not be certain which record belongs to Sarah's husband John Jenkin.
A further search of the I.G.I., has discovered that Sarah and John had 9 children, all shown as being baptised in the Parish of Wendron, Cornwall. They were;
|Catherine Jenkin||- baptised 9th January 1803|
|Sarah Jenkin||- baptised 11th March 1804|
|Thomasine Jenkin||- baptised 13th March 1808|
|John Jenkin||- baptised 3rd June 1810|
|William Jenkin||- baptised 28th June 1812|
|Ann Jenkin||- baptised 30th October 1813|
|Ann Jenkin||- baptised 27th May 1817|
|William Jenkin||- baptised 27th June 1819|
|Mary Jenkin||- baptised 21st July 1821|
At this stage I have not determined if any of the above children married, had children of their own, or what became of them. If anyone has anymore information about any of the above, or you feel you may be a descendant of theirs, please contact me at email@example.com.
