Willme. Sherme was the third child of Mary Jewell and John Sherme, and was baptised on the 3rd April 1636, in the Parish of Kilkhampton. You will notice I have referred to this child as Willme. The reason for this is because that is how his name is shown in the I.G.I. At this stage I am not certain as to what Willme. is short for, however I am fairly certain that it is short for William
A search of the I.G.I., has discovered no record of a marriage or any record of children born to Willme. It could be that Willme. moved to another County, migrated overseas, or there is the possibility that he never married. There is also the strong possibility that he died as a child, an all to familiar occurance during 1600's.
Hopefully further research will help me to determine whether Willme did marry, have children of his own, or what became of him. In the meantime if anyone has anymore information about Willme., or you feel you may be one of his descendants, please contact me at email@example.com
